Sounds: local libraries

Make the audio on your drives searchable, audition and compare it, then send the right asset to your DAW.

01

Tell the app where to find your sounds

  1. 01Create or select a database in the sidebar, add your asset folders, and scan them.
  2. 02Check the databases to search. Choose a folder or click a parent directory in a sound’s path to narrow the location.
  3. 03Search with words and select a result to audition. Rescan the relevant location after adding, moving, or deleting assets.
03

Compare result sets in tabs

Use + to open a search tab. Each tab keeps its query and results, so you can switch between candidates without searching again. Use × to close a tab you no longer need. Locked terms also belong to each tab.
